RESEARCH STUDY

What is this study investigating? The goal of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of two new apps used on your smartphone designed to guide participants with Major Depressive Disorder through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

Overview: This is a completely remote study that entails no in-person visits. It is a 10-12 week long clinical trial, where you will be randomized to use one of the two investigational apps. You will be asked to engage with the app at minimum three times per week, and participate in 6 bi-weekly video calls.

You May Qualify If:
–        You are 22 to 64 years of age
–        You are currently taking an oral antidepressant medication, but are still experiencing symptoms of depression
–        You are currently residing in the state of Illinois
–        You have an iPhone (iOS of 13.0 or greater) or an Android (OS of 9.0 or greater)

Qualified candidates may be compensated up to $350, and may receive a trial card to cover the cost of their oral antidepressant medication throughout the duration of the study.
